Is it possible to get a mortgage with no money down and not good credit?
I've heard so many different things about getting a mortgage today, that it's almost impossible unless you have perfect credit. If you don't have perfect credit, you need a ton of money down. What is a good enough credit score to get a decent rate? I would like to try and buy this summer, but I'm not sure if it's possible if things are that difficult.1) sure it's possible why do you think the US housing and mortgage lenders are in such a mess these days. For extending credit to people who don't have money at no interest rate and now...... they are paying. The industry will probably get tougher because of all the defaulted mortgages these days and banks that are calling in loans. Do it the better way. Get a down payment together, save yr money and that's a far better way to get a mortgage.. believe me!
2) Under your condition,I advise here for you to have a visit.http://mortgage.bestips.info/refinance-mortgage-loan.html
3) I work for a mortgage company and yes it is possible to get a house with no down payment through FHA. thats the good news the bad news is you have to find a seller who is willing to make the down payment (3% with FHA) for you. Also to qualify you must have a 530 credit score. you would get much better rates however if you credit was over 600. if you have any questions i am happy to help
